A Cowboy's Word Is His Bond — And Ours Is This Policy
Space Cowboy rides the galaxy range. Out here in the data frontier, we operate by a simple code: take only what you need, leave everything else alone, and be straight about what you're doing. Your high score is saved in localStorage under the key scow_best. That is the only data Space Cowboy writes. It stays on your device. It does not ride off to our servers. No marshal — and no marketer — can find it there.
Server Logs and External Requests
Loading Space Cowboy triggers one HTTP request to our server. The server logs your IP address, browser identifier, timestamp, and URL path. These logs are kept for 30 days for range security and server monitoring, then deleted. Space Cowboy uses the Special Elite typeface from Google Fonts — one CDN request. No other third-party scripts are loaded. We have checked the game's code against a full inventory: no analytics library, no ad network, no session recorder, no push notification service. The galaxy is vast but Space Cowboy's data footprint is not.
Children, Rights, and Policy Updates
The frontier is open to all ages. Space Cowboy is appropriate for children. We collect no personal data. No parental action required. Any future data feature will be described here — plainly, like a cowboy — before it rides into the game.
Your Data Rights
Players in jurisdictions with formal privacy rights — including GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and similar legislation — may request information about data we hold. Because we retain only brief, anonymised server-access logs, such requests will ordinarily confirm that we hold no personal data linked to any individual. We respond within legally required timeframes. To submit a request, use the official Space Cowboy website or repository contact channel.
No Sale, No Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any data with third parties for commercial purposes. If we were ever legally compelled to disclose server-log data — for example, by a valid court order — we would comply with applicable law. We would not do so voluntarily for commercial reasons, because we have no commercial relationship with any data buyer or broker.
